HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!

Seriously, if you can't get people to do stuff for you on your birthday, when CAN you get them to do stuff for you???

:D

Awesomeness is happening on the home front! Seriously!

Okay, so first thing- I'm starring in a movie!

Okay not really. I get to play a foreign expert in my brother's movie, which is coming along swimmingly (whatever THAT means). Lots of cool CG, shua's just...you know...aura of amazing awesomeness radiates off the screen. The topic it the oil spill in the gulf (oops i spilled...get it? Oh, you don't? Oh, you're being sarcastic? Pretty good, huh? no?)

(why would she write that whole exchange??)

Anyway, aside from playing an italian expert, I'm a stage assistant! Yup, I've been helping with the camera, lights, and I've been giving out some pretty good ideas too! I hope to be in the credits at some point for this...

I play the intern also. I basically follow shua around with a clipboard and sometimes accidentaly make it into the camera's line of sight.

Well, that's that part- I've learned a ton of new songs for piano, including 'Still Alive' by Portal.

Oooh, another cool thing- there's this writer on deviantart I really admire, so I added her to my watchlist (that means I get a message every time she updates, you freaks). She added me to hers! It was the weirdest thing...I don't know if that's something she does to all her watchers, or if it means she actually likes my work...That'd be weird...

I mean, this writer is famous among AC fangirls...Is she really one of my watchers? THAT'D BE AWESOME! :DDDDDD

Yes, I'll stop fangirling now. No I won't...heheh hehehehehehehehheheeh!!! >:D

I'm scared I might've gotten my israeli cousin hooked on it now...I mentioned to her that I was really into it, and I love to draw the characters.

I didn't think she'd actually look it up. She loves the historical aspects, and she thinks the characters are really fun to draw. I've gotten five or six fan arts from her by now.

THIS IS AMAAAAAZIIIING!! THIS MEANS THAT THIS SUMMER WHEN I GO OVER TO HER HOUSE AND START DRAWING AC2 SHE WON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE I'M A FREEEEEAAAAAAK!!!!!!!

YAAAAAH!!

So, as you can see- life's been amazing.

Mazal tov to the stallmans!! They have a new baby girl in the family! (I should know- Malki went away to Lakewood to see her..for a week...wut am i gonna dooo...)

Her birthday is next week thursday!! Better pre-order that new Assassin's Creed game commin out in NOVEMBER FOR HER!!!,

Life goes on...

Yeah...

I've been drawing a lot more, but you know what I've been doing even more than drawing? I've been PLAYING der PIANO!

Ask Rafiki if you don't believe me, he's been suffering this whole time. See, it all started when one day yonina decided to take up playing Shadow of the Collosus again. We got this demo for it like six years ago. So I looked up some footage of the game on youtube, and guess what I found? This game has an AMAZING soundtrack! Because there's little to no dialouge, most of the game is expressed through music. Needless to say, this lead to an epic sheet music hunt, which was rewarded with a bounty of goods. Now I've been printing, scribbling, and playing all day and night. Unforutnately, these amazing songs cannot be mastered overnight, so I've been practicing the same parts over and over until my fingers memorize them...

This can be difficult for my siblings to bear sometimes but trust me! It'll be worth it in the end!

So, other than the sheet music crave, life's been pretty normal...I clean the kitchen in the mornings (sometimes), I play music for most of the afternoon, and also like to draw...Then we eat supper, I go out for a walk, most of the time with my best friend...sometimes we spend the rest of the day till dark at her house, or we go back to mine...Then I spend the rest of the night with AC. Yeah..

Summer vacation ROX!!! I WANT MORE OF THIS AWESOME!!!

But....

To some people, simpy enjoying the summer away from school isn't enough. My mom, for one, is NOT happy that I'm not doing anything. Personally, I'm really happy that now I have all the time in the world to spend on art and music, but she has a point. I've looked for a job though, and no one would hire me...And I mean...I don't really NEED one right now, right? What would I do, anyway? One or two of my friends is doing a camp, like for kindergarteners, a lot of them go away to summer camp for two or three months....

Plus, once I get to high school in September, my free time will be cut a few hours short, won't it.

Meh. I dunno. I'm happy with where I am now. And I goes to the Holy land in August! Ain't that great? I've been watching movies in hebrew lately so I can get used to listening to conversational hebrew...

Don't forgit to check out my devie profile! It's been booming.

Inhaling the essence of success,

kyahaha summer vacation kyahahaah

Whelp, i'm outta yes for good. I'm only gonna do this once, so pay attention:

THANK YOU GOD THANK YOU!!!!! W00000000T!! NO MORE YES FOR THE REST
OF MAH LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE!!

Until i enevitabley end up as a secretary there for some reason. Or substitute. but no more till i get out of high school!!!

Oh, and VISIT ME ON DEIVANTART! Because I'm gonna have TONS of time to draw using the wacom pen over vacation, i'm gonna make updates like...daily...SO VISIT! I'm getting much much better and more realistic since I joined...I'm learning from masters like Doubleleaf!!! (check her out, she's amazing!!)

Anyways, what else? I can play Aeris's theme on piano nearly perfectly! (sad, innit?)

I saw some high schoolers from the class above mine in shul last week...I immediately bombarded them with questions. It turns out, the everit teacher is leaving. They don't know who we're getting next year...I hope it's an israeli. I think it's best to learn hebrew from an israeli, especially if Israel is a place you wanna wind up someday. Anyway, she told me that there are a lot of really neat pianists in Tam! So I can't wait to hear from them. Of course...It's gonna be different not being the only one of the piano anymore...At least this means that I won't have to deal with morons banging their fingers on it, pretending they know how to play when quite obviously, they don't. And it's nice to study how other people play- it could really help me! So all in all, it'll be a nice experience.

I can't wait to go to tam now...

Another news, next assassin's Creed hits the shelves Nov. 16th 2010!! BUY IT FOR ME!!!! Thank you, your all so kind!

Catch ya later, supah-loosahs!

All's quiet on the dairy front...

As you no doubt know, I got back from my trip last week...and I don't feel like typing my fingers off, so instead i will do...A FOTO MONTAHJ!!! MUAHAHA!!!
A lone pick up truck zooms by under the setting sun as our bus re-enters Wisconsin...Very epic.
MAH HAIR!! I just got it cut...but at navy pier it was so long, and it was so hot there, my friend put it up really tight and really high to get it off my neck. But I couldn't see it, and it felt really weird, so I had to take a picture to figure it out. IS A MONSTER! MWAHAHA!!

It was really sunny, so none of us really look too good in this picture. This is just meandmyfriends hanging out at one of the picnic areas at navy pier, where we ate lunch.

One of the beautiful gowns we saw at the Chicago History musuem....they had a lot of other pretty ones, but photos weren't allowed. This was the one we could take pictures of...

PIRATES! YAY! While we were in navy pier, there was a pirate troupe (?) going around, and they did a show for us! My friends took a picture with them, but...i couldn't bring myself to do it. I'm not a pirate person.

Chillin' at the hotel....

The beautiful wisonsin sunset (blocked by trees) and the breath-taking wisconsin skyline (blocked by exit sign). We can only assume the emergency exit is referring to Illinois.

SEGVAAAAY!! Our instructor was russian, but by the time everyone had learned how to use a segway, it had started thunder storming, so we couldn't go out...:'(

Said pirate show.

ICE CREAM!! MUAHAHAHA!! PERFECT THING FOR 90 DEGREE HEAT!!!..it was friggin six dollars...

I got glomped...in my new sweatshirt that was halfoff...

And last...a WONDERFUL class picture!!!!!
and that concludes this weeks earnings.
Man yous guys...school ends tomorrow, and graduation is next wednesday...IMA BE IN 9TH GRADE W000T! I will be the awesomest freshy TAM has ever seen. And I will eat their piano.

SOMEONE HELP I'M DYYYYYYIIIIING!!!

Greetings everyone, I would like to start out this blog post by pointing out some helpful tips to a friend of mine;

YO! CLIMATE! IT IS WAAAAAAY TOOOO HOOOOOOOT!!!

This is MILWAUKEE we are talking about! It's NOT SUPPOSED TO BE 90 degrees yet! It's only MAY for god's sake! IT WON'T BE JUNE FOR ONE MORE WEEK THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Speaking of June, guess who's ready for graduation???

I dunno, your guess is as good as mine. Better even, cuz ur not high.

Another words, guess whose senior trip is this sunday?? THAT'S WRITE! We's going to CHICAGO! Land of milk and honey, city of gold, MECCA!

Hmm...maybe it's not that good..But I plan to bring my ipod, and my camera (u don't even want to KNOW what kinda goodies I've got on that camera...let's just say it's enough to put me on buzz for a lifetime or two..)

Umm...what now..Assassin's Creed is still awesome, school ends in two weeks, I'm graduating 8th grade and moving into high school...I believe I've already discussed that...

Meh, i tink that's it. I'll be back with more later if i feel like it. My broman just came home, and I have to watch him make an idiot of himself on Xbox Live.

Can't stop singin Taylor Swift since she saw a Ezio/Rosa Love Story music video,

Last warning before SHAVUOT

That's right, all yall. Shavuuot is upon us all. (or National Jewish Cheesecake Holliday, to use its less common name)

Like nobody is to be home though! The Rafster isn't coming till next week...Kovi's in Israael...shua's in leh'shool (ptooie!)...

But fear not, good friends...for my mom's friend is coming with her BABY! YAY! I get to eat a baby for the holliday! I take that! I take it HEAD ON!

But my last baby experience was my little cousin in israel, whom with I spoke mostly hebrew. But listening to her talk in hebrew was so cute in funny..I'm gonna have to resist talking to this one in hebrew because I don't want her to get kinda confused later on. But surely..one or two words can't hurt...

So how much cheesecake should I eat before it's considered "dangerous"? We all know at least three cakes will be deposited on the counter before the 3 day yuntif is done...And without shua...I don't know who's gonna eat it.

Uhm...FREE CHEESECAKE EVERYONE COME TO MY HOUSE!!!! (Bring money)

I think that's enough for one night...I mean...I've got fangirilng to do elsewayr. BAI!

hyperly (is this a word? discuss. I want it on my desk by monday)

Sick? Or what?

Maybe I ams leh'sick (pardon our french).

My throats are KILLING me...I cannah speak sometimes. So I takes leh'ibuprofen. And it is leh'weird. I am always tired. Except at night, when i am trying to sleep. I assume this can only mean i've started sleepwalking and am now nocturnal.

My mawmma says if i stay home friday, i have to help her. I guess that means she doesn't particularly mind if i get my filthy germs all over her food, so i'll give it a go. I'm pretty sure I got it from someone in my class, person I am doing the play with. We have to sit next to each other in one scene, and she was a complete wreck. This is why..if you are sick...

and that's a wrap.

Play writing? I'm your man!

Yuh, I just wrote a play about a family going out for fast food in the fifties. Well, that's not really true, my friends helped- we (a group of four) have to write, direct, and perform a play about the fifties to satisfy our teacher- and so far I think we've done pretty well. Basically, I typed on a computer, and the rest of the group read over my shoulder and told me what to change and what to keep. I was writing in the same trance I descend into when I write fanfiction. I re-read it when I'm done and think 'huh. I wrote that?'

This is why very often, I'll come back to my laptop the next day and accidentaly open a file marked 'new text document' and walk away forever scarred.

I'm very slowly becoming obsessed with the song 'todah li aba' by Itzik Orlev. It's one of dem catchy-beat songs. Plus it's got a piano! Sol'd!

Speaking of piano, I'm seriously getting more desperate than ever in school...The piano is RIGHT FRIGGIN THERE! I like sit at the bench during break and munch quietly on my cereal bars while I try REALLY REALLY hard not to open up and start playing. Sometimes I play right hand only, so it's not technically a song. But it's completely and totally not working out. I need to play zeh MUSIC! My techinique at home is slipping too because I can't practice during the day.

And don't say "well then just play anyway, and when the charaidim jump on you, just tell them it's for practice". Cuz that no worky. It doesn't matter WHAT you do, it's not good enough for the ultra-brats I deal with (no offense intended ultra-brats, you all know who you are)

For some reason, I keep thinking to myself- "Just wait till next year. You'll be in high-school! You'll be the youngest class! It's not POSSIBLY to still be dealing with snivelling little brats then!"

Somehow I doubt that. Still, the prospect of 'next year will be SOOOO much better' is looming over me. Now I'm drastically afraid of disappointment. I've been looking forward to high-school for a while because it defines an important section in one's life: when you stopped being a kid and became an adult (theoretically speaking). Whenever my parents start a sentence with 'back when I was in high-school' I find myself instantly entranced. Maybe it's because I've always really liked learning about history- what stuff was LIKE back then. (which makes Assassin's Creed all the more enjoyable, they do a FANTASTIC job of bringing the past to life) but even before we had a video game console I read books like 'Time for Andrew', and the magic treehouse books. Who could forget them?

Meh. That's a lot of words. I have to go to deviantart and satisfy my craving to look at AC motivational posters.

sleepily,

I just passed out!

And it felt GREAT.
(for details, see bazillion comments below)

PS- i not kidding.

Music = YES!

Yes, that's write folks! Sphira for me is OVAH!! And guess what I'm listnin to? One guess, come on, come on!

Wow! First try for all of you! That's right, the soundtracks for Assassin's Creeds ONE AND TWO otherwise known as AWESOME MCAWESOMENSS!!!!!!!!!!

huff huff huff.

Another words, my bro wants me to start cooking him brownies and he'll sell them to WITSers again. But I wouldn't be making much, if anything, and the details are still really sketchy. I'm not sure where I would be getting my ingredients from either, cuz I don't exactly have any money right now. Maybe I can work out with my mom that I start with her ingredients, then I'll start paying her for them once I start making a profit...I dunno...Should I even go through with this stuff?...YOU DECIDE! Let's take a vote! I'll be looking forward to your freakishly long, depressing comments!

Next on the leest...I can do a wealth of accents due to my extreme 24 hours playing of Assassin's Creed! No really, I wished I played 24 hours...I only played one today...I was out for most of it. In the morning I went to go see my great-grandpa with my mom, cuz I had some thirties hits to play him, but he had some visitors (his cousin and my great-aunt-third-cousin-belluga-whale) so I stayed up there with them for like forty minutes then I went downstairs to play the piano for the little cleaning lady in there.

Then in the afternoon we went to go see the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit at the museum. I remain unimpressed. I mean, the exhibit was pretty much: "The Dead Sea Scrolls. Here They Are." And then you could look at them. I thought it was pretty cool to be able to look at scripture thousands of years old, particularly because it was in hebrew, but I mean...if you don't speak hebrew it's kinda boring, isn't it? I mean, all the people there with me couldn't even read it. What do you go through an exhibit like that thinking? 'Oh-wow! The middle east, in my backyard! It's so authentic!'

Huh.

Then I came home and washed the dishes.

And now I gotta go take a shower and put away the candles and take the laundry upstairs.

Toodles!
iguana :)

Four more days to go...

I can't even check my email no more folks. I needs music! I'm listening to six13, but i only have three songs by them, and they're only so long. I can't blog wifout music. Luckily for us...

LAG BA'OMER IS ON SUNDAY!!!!!! MUSIC HOY!!!!

OOooooh yes. And you know what i'm gonna do to that piano in my classroom?..well...not much, cuz i can't even touch the cover without getting pounced on by the ultra-chassidish fifth graders screaming "I KEEP SECOND HALF SORRY YOU CAN'T PLAAAAAAY!!!" The whole 'but i take lessons and practice' argument was abandoned something like five hundred years ago when it was created, and the original rabanaan who made it were hounded by the rest of judiasim.

Some of my benefactors (whatevah the heck THAT means) wanted to know about my interview, which was with the prinicipals of the high school i'm going into. It happened today. Here's how it opened:

I was playing the TAM piano, which i was enjoying until I realized something. Their base C was broken. Not middle C, the base C one octave lower. IT DIDN'T PLAY! I was like: "How does u have piano with broken C, eh?" That's when the principal walked in.

"First test," she said, "Which key on our piano is broken?"
"The C," I blurted, "It's broken. How do you expect anyone to play it?"

She laughed and we went into her office, where the secular studies principal was waiting. She was pretty scary, I admit. She was hovering about an inch from my face the staring at me like some kind of transfixed bunny the whole interview (DONT ASK). So the opening question was:

"How would you describe yourself?"
what are you, my psychaitrist? (screw spelling, ima renegade)

I thought for a moment.
"Awesome, amazing, beautiful, and totally a genius."

When I repeated this to my class, (when i got back, they all wanted to hear the juicy details) they cracked up on the floor. (no joke)

"How did you say it with a straight face?" They asked. I shrugged. Anyways, back to the interview.

"Really?" Asked the english principal.
"Yuh," I said. Then I realized this was going on my permanent record. "Okay, not really, no, but I AM awesome."

So then we went onto the classes, schedule, uniforms, stuff like that. Also, I found this out- there's a 45 minute evrit class, 4 days a week. And they're walking 9th grade through dikdook from Hoveh to Nif'aal. That should help me, I think. And also, I told the hebrew principal about my dream to go to israel, and she was completely in favor. Howevs, when we left, she asked my mother about how fudge was doing. In the same tone you use to ask about one's small child who is recovering from some strange disease in the hospital. Yeah. When my mom told my bubbe about this, my wise old grandmother calmly responded;

"Yeah, she's a b***h"

Nice language, grandma! But then, I did have to survive living in a house with her and her sister for a week.

Craps, folks i just ran out of music. RUN!

Getting desperate now....

*eyes dart nervously left and right*

Okay, the music withdrawl has gotten so bad, I've listened to the same three six13 accapella songs for A FULL WEEK STRAIGHT I'M GONNA LOSE MY MIND!!! I've been singing Doctor horrible, and like....disney...! I have to go do my laundry in a few minutes, and I CANNAH LISTEN TO MY IPOD OH MY GRASH WHUT AM I GONNA DOOOO!?!?!?!?!?!

huh-huh-huh-huff huff....

..huff huff..

okay i think we're good now...

So, what has happened in my life so far you ask? Well, I shall tell you. I'm filling out an AC2 meme! It's been a lot of fun, inasmuch as I've gotten to draw Ezio clocking someone with a mace going "KLONK". I'm gonna submit it when it's done. Also, I got a new coloring program- Paint Tool Sei. Check it out, it's pretty cool. I'm still getting used to it, but the brushes are beautiful. The problem is that it doesn't edit very well, and most of my pictures are scanned in from my sketchbook...So if I want to color anything it gets kind of difficult. But I'm sure I'll figure it out someday.

Yearbook is gonna be done in like two weeks people! What'll i do? I practically do nothing at all to help the yearbook anyway, just every once in a while I email some snapshots to our editor and she puts them in. Seriously, i struck it rich picking photographer. Although I've heard in Senior year you get graded on yearbook...Just something I'm gonna have to fail then...

CALLING CONSENSUS!!!

Should I try out for the play next year? I don't know if I'm a good actor or not. I mean, I'd like to think so, but there are so many high schoolers out there who are better than me...next year I'm just gonna be a lowly freshman...like a little calf out there in a field of experienced Wisconsin dairy cows....

okay that came out wrong.

Ignoring that, I don't actually know if I'm any good. I plan to establish an awesome reputation in tam next year by playing the KEYS off their piano. Unless that's viewed as a bad thing. In which case I'll have to do it at secret during lunch period or something. Also, I've heard the principal of the high school is interviewing the girls in my class to find out what kind of people they are and what they want to do when they enter and leave tam.

Should I TELL her I plan to go to seminary in Israel and live there afterwords? Or is that frowned upon, seeing as my community is mostly anti-zionist.

My life is so full of questions.

Fudge don't you say a word. I don't wanna hear it. This is MY blog, so I get to rant about MY issues, even though they're only like two, because I lead a good life, bli'eh.

Sphera is making me C-R-A-Z-Y...

I'm dying of music withdrawl...

and brother withdrawl...

UGHHH!!!

Another words, can you believe the weather? 85 degrees in MILWAUKEE!!! Whoot. We had to take our class picture today...with our sweatshirts on in the sun. Yeah, NOT comfortable. I felt truly awful. And my hair was leh'not very well done (excuse our french), and i was looking directly into the sun so I couldn't smile. But I couldn't smile anyway cuz i was BOILING because it was friggin 80 degrees out. It's really not supposed to be 80 until like june. This nutty state i live in, i tell yah..

So..what else...I can't play piano in the school anymore...sniff...It's really rough cuz it give me nothing to do during break. So I draw cute little ac2 comics. But that can have drawbacks...see- yonina has started drawing them too. Here's the one she showed me today:

DIFFERANCES BETWEEN ALTAIR AND EZIO:

panel one- shows Ezio flirting with a group of women
panel two- shows Altair shoving the women rudely into walls.

yeah. nine year olds shouldn't really be drawing pictures of flirting, let me tell ya. But I made a lot of cute pictures of ezio flirting, so it's okay.

My hebrew class- looking up! My teacher actually started handing out word packets this week so there may be hope for the future! Oh, and big news people..big news..

ready?

go-

I'M GOING TO THE ORTHODONTIS TOMRROW MORNING TO HAVE HIM LOOK AT MY MOUTH AND SAY 'OH DEAR IGUANA IT LOOKS LIKE YOU DON'T NEED TO WEAR RUBBER BANDS ANYMORE!!!!!!!!'

ooooooooh yes. oooooooooh yes. No more rubber bands.

Of course now you'll all inform me that i've jinxed myself, so therefore Dr. Zussman will really tell me 'nope! No improvements! Wear them 23 hours a day and come see me in another 10198320984 years!' Yeah, I'll bet.

Oh, I figured out how to make a clip look nice in my hair. But I'm thinking of getting my hair cut on lag ba'omer. It's getting kinda long...and the weather is getting really hot. iguana + long hair + hot weather = leh'suck (pardon our french)

Well I think I'm about done here. I'ma go play ac2 now and make some italian ladies very happy.
see you next time!!!

Ya'll biscuit heads!

helloooooooo milwaukee!!

Today was a SENSATIONAL eighty degrees and mah family went to the zoo. I kinda wish we hadn't though, cuz we didn't really do anything except sweat a lot. Next time, i'd rather go to a park where i can sit on a bench in the SHADE and NOT move around, and WRITE in a NOTEBOOK or DRAW a COMIC. instead we WALKED AROUND in the HOT, GRUELING SUN, and looked at ANIMALS.

Yeah...not the funnest thing....

but still, at least i got to enjoy the weather. I'm still wondering...ya know, today IS april fools day...

Is this mother nature's greatest prank? 80 degrees in milwaukee in APRIL?

Meh. I dunno. I joined deviantart, i believe i said that already. If you want my profile link, ask for it in the comments thing, i don't feel like posting it up here. Besides, i don't think i'm gonna get much artwork done, seeing as my week is permanantely jammed in 'erev shabbat- erev yuntif'. For a while.

Awesomness is on the rise

yes...Pesach break is like right now...

NOT.

No, pesach break is starting on tuesday. It right now is saturday night. So- I have two days of shool. I need to make a thank you for one of my bros friends who gave me a present. I'm thinking I'll record a piano song and then write a letter that'll be something like-

"To whom it may concern (aka (friends name))

we appreciate your donation. We also appreciate money ;)."

Something along those lines, i tink. So- Assassin's creed is SHTILL being awesome. I've even started with fanarts and like comics and i read blogs like 'ask altair' and also fanfics on fanfic.net. Ho man.

Hmmm....what else...I spent the whole day asleep today. It felt SOOOOO good. Plus- finally conquered my hair AGAIN! HA HA! DOMINANCE HAS NEVER FELT SO GOOOOD!!! I'm also stealing my mom's shirts one at a time. My mom tells me to switch over the wash...and when nobody's looking..

DUH

DUH

DUUUUUUUUHHHH!!!!

That's when i strike! Ohh yes. Soon I will be unstoppable. Plus- finally learned how to play dream a little dream of me on piano- which I just recently found out was a hit song in the thirties and sixties and my grandfather apparently knows all the words by heart. I plan to play it for him tomorrow at the jewish home. Should be nice.

Whelp, i tink that's all for now. My bro's playin mass effect, so i can't spear any crusaders. :(.

Oh well. There'll be other times. Maybe i'll just read fanfiction to fill my cravings. Or possibly oatmeal. Yeah...oatmeal...groooooodd.....

ps, chaiky, oatmeal STILL p4owns oranges. ANY DAY.

Off to stumble into the kitchen (since she is wearing her glasses, made of glass roughly 39232094374 inches thick,)

When we last saw our friend and hero...

she was sqealing in joy because she just got Assasssin's Creeds 1 and 2.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!

Now, before you all accuse me of being a nerd and unsheathe your machetes, allow me to say this in my own defense:

it was not of my free will.

I refuse to give male members of the community the full truth of the matter. Chaiky- I'm sure you understand ;) (if not, email me, i will not say this in front of my bros).

So, aside from being obsessed with AC and mindlessly reading fanfics and webcomics like a zombie, life for me has been pretty good. My BROTHER NAMED KOVI is coming home in two days and i couldn't be more psyched!! I already have a plan of attack stradegy for when he gets off the plane...heh heh....he'll never know what hit him!! In other news, my family is frowning on the concern that the mystical Geo in our backyard may be in its final days. It is now officially too broken to qualify in my brother's driving test. Is this the death of a major traditional we see before our eyes right now? What can it be? Is it an omen of the apocolypse?!? You'd better send me some money, just in case!

In shool related issues....not much is happening. I'm still not learning hebrew. Big whoop. Although my desk is now the current residence of a hundred or so AC comics. Also- yearbook! Here's my v.i.p pass page!

Name: (my real name)
Nicknames: iguana, elanza, mommy
Obsessions: drawing, piano, typing, killing insects, beating her child, learning hebrew, israel
Pet peeves: insects, people who "play" the piano (with sledgehammers), people who can't speak hebrew,
Last seen: killing something
Future job: Concert pianest and graphic designer
Nobody knows: She has enslaved her little sister

At least I think it was something like that. I don't have the binder in front of me.

It's almost pesach people! Watch me dodge the work! Seriously, it's gonna be up to me and my brother to do nearly all the cleaning, since everyone else is at school or out of the state. For example- two of my siblings are arriving the day before erev pesach (this is also what prompted me to buy AC1, since I knew rafiki would becoming RIGHT before the yontif, and i wanted play-time. Plus he ain't coming in two weeks and i wouldn't live that long). Here's something new though- our record player is gone. I don't know if my mom sold it or what, but it's gone. This means I won't be able to hear "The Seder Paraders!" anymore. Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Well I don't care,
going to go gorily spear some crusaders,
iguana >:D

(discussion question: is gorily a word? Why or why not? Be brief)

It's so BEAUTIFUL OUTSIIIIIIDE!!!

Oh my goodness gracious people! It's 55 DEGREES FARENHEIT OUTSIDE CAN YOU BELLIIIIIIIIIEVE IT?!?!?!?

I'm gonna SING and do DANCE!!!!
but not now.

So, I believe I owe you peeps an explanation of teh carnival. Here's more or less how it went. I was in charge of the shave the balloon stand, as I believe you were aware of. I dynamically got there half an hour early to set up my station. I had thought that this booth would be more set back, since what little girl wants to get her dress and costume (G-d forbid, COSTUME) covered with icky smelly shaving cream? EVERY GIRL ON THE PLANET..would want to...

So from the second they let the little children into the place, I got kindergartners of every shape and size (including a little boy dressed up as luke skywalker from episode 5) came over to my booth to race each other. At first things were going very well. I covered the balloons in cream, and I held them by the tie. Then I watched the little children dynamically attack the balloons as I dynamically pretended to be timing. When I felt like it, I called 'STOP', and I held up the balloons and decided which one was cleaner. I was VERY VERY corrupt, so I usually just gave both the boys a ticket. Unless one of the kids was really obnoxious. Then he didn't get one.

Here's the thing though...My hands were completely covered in cream, so I couldn't touch my face without getting a mouthful...but...my hair was falling out and my nose itched...so...I'm not very proud of this...but...I dynamically gave a little girl three tickets to scratch my nose. I bribed another one to push my hair up. I'm not proud of what I did.

So at around halfway through the carnival I ran out of paper towels to wipe the shavers on. I dynamically ran to the bathroom and ripped out as many as I could. I figured, there couldn't be THAT many weirdos who wanted to shave balloons, right? No one would miss me if I just slipped out for a minute, right? WRONG!!!!! There were ten or eleven people waiting!(they have to wait in pairs) I dynamically apologized for the delay in service (the kids were NOT amused) and got to smothering balloons. After a while though I got sick of it. I couldn't do it anymore. Just as I was about to mutiny, another girl in my class came up to me and begged me to take over her booth for her. She was mystery food. Someone had to stick their hand into a little flap and guess what was on the other side. I would never do this. Ever. But then again, I'm only a sane person. I am not a desperate four year old who really wants to get a rubber frog (the one we priced for like sixty tickets). Problem is...we only had three bowls. A ton of kids just memorized all the stuff (or cheated) and got free tickets. But then again I didn't care, becuz I was dynamically munching my sister's popcorn (which she bought, but didn't like).

FINALLY the dynamic carnival was finished. We cattle prodded the children out of the gym and up the stairs after they cleaned out a prize racks. But nobody even touched the bouncy balls, cuz the ones we ordered were really junky. We each got a different color one, but they popped almost immediately. Mine didn't though, cuz i take care of it. I named him 'Dennis'. He currently resides happily in my desk next to my calculator and wite out. He lives a dynamic life. Then, to get out of cleaning, I took a bunch of stuff upstairs and dynamically ate my lunch. Cuz they don't feed us often (salty popcorn doesn't actually fall under 'food').

Oh, and I found out what the haunted house booth was doing. It was something involving a pair of pants and a rubber chicken..I would've checked in during the carnival...but i was too busy dynamically shaving balloons. I never did find out what the rubber chicken was for, though I asked multiple times. Dynamic is a word I would like to include in this sentence.

That'sbout all I remember. I gotta go and do...something..now.

Bye!!

Completely psyched that her bro is coming home next week tue!!!

We rejoin our friend and hero as...

Hello again, folks! Iguana here, with the breaking news you all care about so much. Oooooh there's so much to talk about, you should prolly get some popcorn. No really. I'll wait.

Kay, got it? Good. First o all- i got my first F! Not really, but you know how it's like. Here's the situation- My PhyEd teacher divided us into groups and then assigned us each the same retarded song and said, and i quote: "Make up a dance using four given steps. You will either recieve an A for participating and showing me that you tried, or an F." Yeah, that's it. All of it. So...she expected a bunch of teenagers with no real life to make up a dramatic dance to a retarted song. Oh, and we had three days, forgot to mention that part. So, today was presentation. After complaining to the teach for a while and stating all the reasons why she shouldn't grade us too harshly, my group stumbled onto the stage and proceded to do absolutely nothing. No really, we were waiting for the music to que us in. The song has a 55 second intro. Now you know what I meant by retarted. So, after waiting 55 seconds on stage where everyone laughed at us, they laughed at us SOME MORE because our dancy was quote;

"nerdy and stupid"

which are like swear words as far as my school is concerned. So yeah, for the whole time we were straggling along up there, my teacher was scribbling with a pen on a clipboard. I'm pretty sure she wasn't noting how impressive we were.

So-anyway

Guess what's happening next week Monday March 1st?!?!? PURIM CARNIVAL!! You're invited! YES gym, 9:30-12:00 (girls only) $3 admission! You too can lob wet sponges at an unsuspecting teenager without even the slightest repercussion! Form a line people! Believe it or not, this year someone actually VOLUNTEERED to get sponged. But we didn't hold her back, cuz this kid was a flat our jerk. I actually know some people who would be more than happy to lob a sponge at her.

But alas, the sponge toss was not t'be my fate. Nope! Not me! I got the SHAVE THE BALLOON STAND!! w00t! Oh yeah! If you come to my school at the above time, just shamble over to the farthest end of the gym and gape in awe at my mountain (literally) of shaving cream. TREMBLE IN FEAR!! MWAHAHAHAHAH!! Last year, I actually started lobbing shaving cream at some snotty kids. And you get away with anything in that school as long as it's 'Purim Shtick'. Example: today I wrote my DOL (daily oral langauge, a sentence the teacher writes once a day on the board that we fix for grammer) in hebrew. Actually I don't know if I've gotten away with that yet. We'll know tomorrow. Anway back to the shaving cream. Bring a friend; i cover two balloons with shaving cream, and whoever shaves all the cream off their balloon first, wins! A ticket! Ooooh the stuff you can get with a TICKET! We've got like...laffy taffy's! And like...those little rubber frogs! And who could forget...DISGUISE GLASSES! Oh yes, you can bet next week's carnival will be a festival to remember.

Don't forget to send me money! That will also help!

Taking the pictures was so annoying- i couldn't smile. I AM EXTREMELY NOT PHOTOGENIC. I grimace instead of smile. I only smiled when i made fun of my mom, that's when they took the picture.

Yeah, well i've got supper to eat so ENJOY THE PIC!

"Irony is my left name, amanda.."

Well folks I had an aboslutely splendid shabbat and I'm gonna share it with each and every one of ya.

Here is a detailed account of the great adventure I undetook this shabbat: (we ate lunch at the goldners, I'm skipping that part)

"Okay, we're going!" I then walked out the door, my parents and sister followed shortly behind. I was going to 8th grade b'not at the kollel to chill wif my friends, but my sister was going to her b'not which was at the shul across town. When we reached the part of the road where we'd need to seperate, my mom told me firmly:
"You'd better leave b'nos early to get her!"
I gulped.
I was not, not in a bazillion years, gonna leave b'not early. The thing's only an hour long for heaven's sake! It's like a twenty minute walk (and in cold cold weather whilst wearing a tiny jumper!), and that cut my small amount of awesome time with my friends in half! So I kept going to the kollel, which luckily, wasn't too far from the goldners'. But the wind was not easy on my legs. Yeesh! I shrank behind my purple scarf, but nothing really helped. I say, even now in the safety of my brown comfy chair with my warm laptop and gad elbaz streaming into my ears, that the wind was brutal just for me. Soon, I reached the kollel (meeting a friend on the way, heading to the same place) so we went in together.

It was a full house, but our councelor hadn't actually prepared anything, since the whole thing had been on pretty short notice so we just played freeze and justify, which I found out I am insanely good at (and then some).

For those of you who don't know, here's how to play and some examples of what we did:

Two people go up and perform a skit they made up on the spot (not unlike 'who's line is it anyway', which is where I got all my exp.) Then, someone says 'Freeze' and they have to stop in whatever pose they're in. Someone says 'justify so and so', and that person has to change the skit completely, and it can't be related at all to the last one. Here:

First skit: Me and a friend

Me: *looking on ground* hey, see that!
F.: what?
Me: *picks up an invisible object from floor* I think it's a coin!
F.: then it's mukzah!
Me: no, take a closer look (cups hands and holds them up to her)
OF: FREEZE. Justify iguana.
Me: *puppy eyes* can I have a little more?
F.: Uh, a little more what? I think I'm out.
Me: Please? (puts down bowl and leans against wall)
F.: Uhm...(she said something funny, but i don't remember whut she said)
Me: (puts hands on legs while leaning against wall)
OF: freeze! Justify iguana
Me: I think I pulled it..
F.: What?
Me: My leg, it really hurts (bends over)..do you have something I could use on it, or an excersize you could recommend?
F.:well i tink I have some cream...
Me: you put cream on your aching joints...?

and so and so on. Sooner or later, these other girls came on that were fantastic! But I don't want to go too far in. Almost immediately after we started playing, it was 3:30 already, so I went to get little sis from the shul. I knew I'd be pretty late, but it wouldn't kill her to wait a little, since she already tried to ruin my fun at b'not. I was pretty hot, since the room was small and heated pretty well, and I'd really been enjoying myself. So the cold didn't bother me. I made it to the shul in record time, only fifteen minutes late. But after scouring the whole place, I saw my sis wasn't here...And that would be prob-la-ma-tic.

"Someone must've walked her home." I thought out loud ( i do dat a lot) "They saw no one was coming and walked her home. Probably a councelor. Well, that's just great! I'm only fifteen minutes late! Don't these people wait?!"

So I started home, and walking pretty fast.

"If someone walked her home, that means my mom had to wake up and open the door for them, cuz littles sister doesn't have the key..That means not only did she have to cut her nap short, but she KNOWS I disobeyed her! Deliberately, no doubt!" I walked a bit faster.

"Or maybe a carpool decided to take her where they were going...Maybe she's at Raymond's with her friends...Maybe she decided to walk home herself and something happened to her....Man, I wonder what my mom's going to do when she finds out....Maybe she'll make me go to bed at like seven or something...No, I can't do that. Not possible. I'd just wait till she went to bed and get up and play mindless video games all night."

The whole thing reminded me of an episode of Sailor Moon where Sailor Moon was supposed to pick up her little cousin from her swim class, but she was a little late so the kid tried to walk herself home and it was storming so she got really lost.. (cept she was really Sailor Moon's daughter from the future, not to mention the only heir to the White thrown, so there were all types of people from the future tracking her down and trying to kill her, which didn't make me feel any better about MY situation, but it probably didn't apply).

I was nearly home when I saw two figures about a block ahead of me. They looked like kids of my little sis's grade, which made me feel better.

"Not everyone's gone home yet! Those could be kids from sister's b'not!"

But as I got closer, I recognized the coats the figures were wearing, and they seemed to grow taller.

"Wait a minute," I said out loud, "That's M. and T. (not saying their names, they won't appreciate it. Child, u know who I mean) ! But...are they going to my house? Well, that's not gonna work, I'm not home!"

I began to run. I saw them turn around the corner.

"Wait, they could just be going to M's house....but that's really far away from T's house and shabbat ends in two hours. They wouldn't be there that long..." They passed a girl coming my direction. I concurred they must be going to my house, so I ran faster.

"Are they going to my house?!?" I yelled at the girl (she knows me) as I ran past. She shrugged. I managed to catch up with them just as they were walking away from my house, after knocking and not getting any reply.

"There you are!" M said.
"Yeah, I've been searching the whole city for my little sister." I explained, "I didn't find her at the shul...I don't know where she is..."
"Well, why don't you just go inside and warm up?" M. suggested.
"Is the door open?" I asked, and leaned on the door. It opened right away, curiously. I went inside. Gazing over the living room, I happened to notice the brown chair was rocking incredibely fast, as if someone had just jumped out of it....

"SURPRISE!" Yelled my little sister.
"You're HERE?!" I shrieked, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"
"I went home with mommy," she said.
"Mommy took you home from b'not?" gulp. Not good...then she'd know I never showed up.
"No, I didn't go to bnos at all. I didn't want to."
"Buh...uh...er..." My eyes crossed.

I fell over.

so the story ends. I coudn't feel my legs for an hour, but my friends and I played games and ate cake. Then they stayed over after shabbat and we watched Taylor Swift music videos. It was good times....

Till later, folks!

Becuz...

Yes, children, it seems yet another week has come by. My mom has somehow managed to obsess me with Gad Elbaz (in the worst way) and now i can't stop listening to him. Though I have a feeling that this won't last long, cuz i always blog from my lappy, and my lappy has super-crap lan options. So if I can't get Gad Elbaz from my mom's computer to this one becuz the lappy don't feel like lan networking today, i can't really listen to him. Which will either make me end the obsession or turn into a mutant gerbil. I'm desperately hoping for the mutant gerbil thing, but i don't think it's happening.
FLASH
I bought three new bottles of nailpolish though. AWESOMEST COLORS i gotta say. Yes I'm a full teenager now (complete with zits that make you want to puke!) Problem is...if i'm gonna keep blowing money on nailpolish, i'm gonna need more money. Actually, these bottles were a dollar a piece, and i've got somewhere like 24 sweet american dollars, so i'm not desperate. But still...So that's where my plan comes in....right...here!
...
Kay, i don't got no plan. Maybe I'll be able to like steal my bro's milkshake business when he graduates, but honestly, his highschool is a dorm. Mine isn't. People will not be that desperate for milkshakes. Besides, the seniors would arrange my murder before i'd sold more than three shakes anyway. So that no worky. Uh...huh...(scratches head)...
Come on people help me out!! How can a girl make some money in this joint??!

Finally!

That's what you were going to say, right? Yes! My pix from miami, with commentary!

Look folks, uh, i accidentely uploaded these backwards, so uh, bear with me here..

I took this by the balcony of our hotel room. The lighting came out horribley, i forgot to turn the flash on. But if I could fix it, this would probably be the cover to my book.

This is an unforgettable picture of me giving shua a tour of my yachts from the balcony, but he made me laugh while he took the picture. Note the necklace, chaii.

Picture my cousins took of me (at their insitance of course. Prolly they were sick of me taking pictures of them) I think it came out good. This could also be a cover for mah book. Note the eyes.YESSSSSSSS...YOU CANNAH RESSSISSSST MEEEEEEE....GIVE ME YOUR MOOOONNNEEEEEEEY....

That's right, zoom in on that picture and you'll find the sign reads 'MANATEE ZONE SLOW SPEED'. (bridge out, slow to 60). I didn't actually see any manatees, but i think their up to something. In any case, we didn't slow down, so we're fine.

Yuh, speedboat. That thing went past us at like sixty miles an hour. The bright green boat is a shipping boat from Hong Kong that just came in. Yup.

The beautiful ocean water of Miami...

These are the bubbles the ship produced. These things drove yonina nuts. She's like 'LOOK AT THE BUUUUBBBLESS!!'. They were very relaxing to watch. (yeah we're on a cruise boat, forgot to mention that part)

Ah yes private island...

My dad videoed (?) the whole ride. I'll try to get the link by the end of this commentary. Or I'll just ask him abawt it.

Das Miami! Cancha tell?

Quite possibly the same speedboat that buzzed us last time...That old man looks like he's enjoying a cold one!

Das Miami beach. We're staying in one of those hotels on the shore over there. Unfourtunately, peeps advised me against bringing my camera to the beach cuz they were afraid it'd get either stolen (by seagulls) or destroyed (by seagulls).

Ah yes, shua making an important phone call from our hotlel balcony...

Cuzzinz. I won't say dare names, i don't think they'd appreiciate it. But those guys were cuuute.

More cuzzinz. This is at a pizza place, btw.

What can be said that isn't painfully obvious? (SQ6)

Yeah...Lobby of our hotel...

You wish you had one of these in your backyard. I swear in miami every building has its own fountain. We drove past like a hundred fountains, but every time i tried to take a picture a car of a jogger got in the way. And in florida, joggers don't WEAR CLOTHES.

A pretty building we passed...I think it's a church.
Palm treeeeeeesss!!!
das it folks. Thanks for bearing with us.
Going to go clean up and grab a snack,
iguana ^-^
